From Formula Ford to the Cup grid

The start: Formula Ford, 2013

NiceRacing began in 2013 in Formula Ford, a class with no aerodynamic assistance and little power, where a driver learns everything about momentum and cornering speed. It is a cheap way to learn expensive lessons: every mistake costs lap time and shows up immediately in the data.

In the same period NiceRacing's path crossed that of EJ Automotive, active in the Benelux Formula Ford Championship since 2008. The two organisations initially raced as competitors in the same paddock.

Six seasons of Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup Benelux

From 2019 to 2025 NiceRacing raced six consecutive seasons in the Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup Benelux. That too is a one-make series: identical cars, identical tyres, and therefore no technical excuse. For the team it was where the working method took shape that now moves to GT3 — building fixed brake points, reviewing data and video side by side, and adjusting set-up in small steps rather than jumps.

Across those six seasons cooperation with EJ Automotive grew from occasional to structural. From 2019 it became full technical cooperation, producing podiums and a race win at TT Circuit Assen.

In numbers

Racing since 2013 · six seasons of Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup Benelux (2019–2025) · cooperation with EJ Automotive since 2013, fully technical from 2019 · PCCB debut in 2027 with two cars.

The step to GT3

For 2027 the team moves to the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux with two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. The class is a logical extension of where the team comes from: another one-make series, no technical advantage for sale, but considerably more power, downforce and professional pressure.

The brief is deliberately narrow: no second programme pulling attention away from race weekends. Every hour in the workshop and every test lap goes to the same two cars. More about the class on Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux.

EJ Automotive

EJ Automotive was founded in 2008 to race in the Benelux Formula Ford Championship and later became the official Benelux partner for British constructor Ray. Since then it has run programmes across a range of classes, from single-seaters to GT and touring cars.

For the 2027 programme EJ Automotive handles technical support, race engineering and preparation between rounds. For partners and drivers that lowers risk: delivery sits with an organisation that has been doing this for nearly two decades.
