The Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux has been contested since 2013 and is the longest-running one-make Porsche Cup in the region. The calendar follows a fixed rotation of Benelux circuits, topped up with European rounds supporting larger events.
What each round asks of the car
In a one-make series, where the machinery is identical, the difference shifts to set-up and circuit knowledge. Each of the four Benelux circuits loads the car differently.
- Spa-Francorchamps. Top speed and confidence through fast corners. The weather can turn within a lap, which makes tyre choice a gamble with consequences.
- Zandvoort. Mechanical grip and traction out of slow banked corners. Tight, with little room to recover from a mistake.
- Assen. Flowing fast sections and a chicane where races are decided. Brake balance is the deciding factor here.
- Zolder. Short and technical with heavy kerb use. A lap time is built from many small gains rather than one large one.
